How we created a Top 10 Cognac for one of themost influential entrepreneurs of our time.

From a blank piece of paper, BARKER named, designed, packaged, and marketed the top-selling new Cognac in America.
Behind the celebrity status of Ludacris, and fueled by powerful branding inspired by New Orleans and the confluence of French and African American culture, Conjure Cognac playfully challenges centuries of tradition with a brash hip-hop flair.
The journey began with an exploration of more than300 names as well as over 50 logo concepts.
Within just 5 weeks,the options were narrowed to 15 bottle designs for testing.
Critical to the success of the brand concept, BARKER added a surprising twist to the design. A close inspection of the frosted classic French toile pattern reveals a playful and subversive graphic. This is the “G-Rated” version. Others were less tame.
The resulting brand swagger generated the fastest sales growth in the Cognac industry. Call it the sweet taste of success.
